As an exercise in UX design, I redesigned the iOS icons for my iPhone. The icon set, called Micron, focuses on Flat UI design to eliminate skeuomorphism in the icons while remaining visually and quickly recognizable. Each of the icon designs features bold colors, with shadow accents to create visual interest in the minimal style. The icon set was eventually released for the iOS jailbreak community for download.
