The Notch Table is a product in development and seeking manufacturers. The Notch is a table designed to be the table that goes with you. The design is a flat-pack wooden table that can be assembled in a minute and then disassembled just as quickly when not in use. The Notch uses mortises and wedge tenons to lock into place, with the tenons being easily removed for storage. The table prototype is perfect as a coffee table or children’s activity table. The table, inspired by a charity design event for children, will eventually be accompanied by a whole suite of flat-pack and portable furniture, including side tables, stools, and desks.
